Mr. Curran holds degrees in mathematics from Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans. He has over thirty years of actuarial experience. He is responsible for final approval of all actuarial valuations, oversees computer programming related to the actuarial valuation process, and provides expert testimony on behalf of the firm's clients. He is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary. He currently serves as a member of the Louisiana Public Retirement System's Actuarial Committee and has served as an advisor to the Louisiana Pension Commission and previously worked as an actuary for the INTEGON Life Insurance Corporation of Winston-Salem, NC.
Mr. Curran holds a degree in Finance and International Management from Georgetown University. He is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary. He has twenty-four years of experience working in actuarial consulting and plan administration for governmental pension plans. He is responsible for overseeing the plan administration work performed by the company, provides computer programming support, performs many of the actuarial valuations, oversees the review of transfers and purchases of prior service credit along with retirement benefit certifications, provides Board education and Legislative testimony.
